Boots Opticians is 20 years old and has completed over 20 million eye tests. Each year we perform 1.25 million eye examinations, dispense 900,000 pairs of spectacles and regularly supply 110,000 customers with contact lenses. Many have their lenses delivered directly to their home.
We’ve almost 300 practices across the county, in everywhere from small rural locations to large cities. You’ll find more than half of our practices within Boots the Chemist stores. In 63 of our practices we also offer a full hearing care service, through David Ormerod Hearing Care Centres.
All our Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians are registered with the General Optical Council and work to ensure every customer receives the best possible care. We treat the training of our teams very seriously, and develop skills and knowledge through Boots training programmes.
We offer a wide range of 32 spectacle designer brands as well as a comprehensive own-brand range. We also offer a broad range of contact lenses, and our glazing is all done by Hoya at a state-of-the-art facility in Wrexham.
